We're excited to share Prime Air - something the team has been working on in our next generation R&D lab. The goal of this new delivery system is to get packages into customers' hands in 30 minutes or less using unmanned aerial vehicles. Putting Prime Air into commercial use will take some number of years as we advance technology and wait for the necessary FAA rules and regulations. This is footage from a recent test flight. Robot Doctor Headed to a Hospital Near You

The latest creation from Bedford, Mass., company iRobot is a 5-foot, 4-inch, remotely controlled, physician on wheels named "RP-VITA." It's expected to be in hospitals across the country by the end of the year. WBZ News' Lisa Hughes reports.

iRobot's Ava will be an awesome platform for future business opportunities!!
I just saw a great article in Popular Mechanics about iRobot's latest creation: Ava
Here's a video of the new robot taken at the recent CES show in Vegas:
This inspires a lot of thought and ideas for future business opportunities in Robotics. With the ipad being used to control it, it will be very easy for developers to create unique apps to take advantage of it's capabilities. I bet this will be a hot platform for future entrepreneurs!
