Guy Uses Kinect Controlled Robot to Brush His Kitty Cat

This is the culmination of my last year's work. I control the robot's arms
through the Kinect and Wii remotes. I control the robot's navigation through the
Kinect and treadmill. I control the robot's head through the head mounted
display (HMD). I also see through the robot's eyes with the HMD.

High School Team Uses Kinect to Operate a Robot
Members of the Arlington High School Robotics Club "Neobots" recently had the opportunity to learn how to utilize Microsoft's Kinect motion sensing device to control a robot.
Although the Kinect was originally released to be used as an XBOX 360 game controller, Microsoft recently released a software development kit for innovative people to tap into it's unique capabilities to "see" and "hear" it's environment.
This Microsoft employee is tasked with teaching teams engaged in First Robotics Competitions to take advantage of the Kinect's capabilities:
